I purchased my first 35 mm camera when I was 17 years old and began taking photography lessons. Diverted by my camera being stolen, coupled with a hectic working schedule, I put photography aside. After having five children and twelve nieces and nephews, though, I found myself repeatedly inspired to take more and more photos. Over the years, I strove to take better quality portraits, sports shots, and group photos, inspiring me to purchase better and more professional equipment. I began taking photography lessons again. I am an enthusiast and hobbyist and am always learning more to improve my photography. I’ll keep posting my latest photos!

“A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away.”
(Eudora Welty)
“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
(Ansel Adams)
